We are ISO 9001-2008 certified, and we are proud of those certifications. But they aren’t the end of methodologies we employ to produce defect-free parts. They are, really, the beginning – the foundation upon which our die casting excellence is based. Part consistency and machine capability are supported by Six Sigma analysis and problem solving techniques, our metrology lab has three coordinate measuring machines, and an in-house spectro-analysis.
Using statistical process methods, we can now identify potential causes of defects, and correct them before the manufacturing begins. We educate our people to incorporate data from our state-of-the-art research and development equipment into their problem solving processes. We encourage our customers to make use of our R&D facility to evaluate existing dies or to learn more about the die casting process. And we are continually performing capabilities studies and developing new ideas. Our quality assurance processes include: - Automated manufacturing processes for quality consistency.
- Advanced quality planning with customer participation in design of tooling.
- Vacuum assist technology for proper fill and porosity control with increased die life.
- Membership in NADCA’s research and development committees, allowing evaluation of emerging technologies, often before they are introduced to the industr
